Meet the Curator

Tramaine, a proud Detroit native, has always been deeply rooted in her community. From feeding the homeless and organizing Stop the Violence rallies to hosting fundraisers for families affected by tragedy, her commitment to uplifting the city has never wavered.

In 2018, she launched MaineApparel629 in loving memory of her cousin Bam, whose life was tragically taken due to gun violence in Detroit. What began as a tribute has grown into a movement, one grounded in hope, healing, and unity.

"I feel like Detroit is on the rise for the good, so it only makes sense to keep contributing to our growth."

At the heart of MaineApparel629 is a simple yet powerful message:
"I'M ROOTING FOR EVERYBODY FROM DETROIT."

It’s more than a slogan, it’s Tramaine’s mission. A call to focus on solutions instead of setbacks. A reminder that despite the challenges, Detroit still has heart, resilience, and endless potential.

Through this brand, Tramaine continues to inspire others to rise above negativity and embrace a message that everyone in the city can connect with. Because to her, hope isn’t just a feeling, it’s a responsibility.
